Exciting Times in the Life of Baby Mushkin

Here are some things we've been doing with Mushkin this month!

We had dinner at our friends Yana and Mike's house, right down the road from us. They have a little girl Maya, who is a couple of weeks older than Henry, and is winning in the Chunkiest Legs contest. It is always relaxing to be able to talk to another couple going through the same things as us. The babies, if not exactly 'played' together, lay together!

Henry and Mommy played outside a lot this summer, after the June heat wave passed. We lay a blanket out, look at the sky and grass, and listen to sounds together. He also enjoys his 25 cent swing we got at a yard sale!

We took a walk at Shelburne Farms. We noticed a very interesting 17th century Native American totem.

We went to the Shelburne Farmer's Market and North Beach in Burlington. Not wanting to travel too far, we find plenty of adventures right in our own backyard!

Henry is making more and more sounds (especially drooly "raspberries" with his lips), rolling over a lot, and grabbing everything that is put in front of him. He is a very good, sweet and happy boy!
